Couples therapy

When relationships feel strained or unsafe, it's very common for each partner to become more guarded or protective. That response makes sense; protection is often how we cope when things feel hard. At the same time, deep intimacy and repair grows through connection. If you're feeling distant, stuck, or caught in familiar painful cycles, couples therapy can offer a path back to meaningful, lasting connection. Couples therapy isn't about deciding who is right or wrong, it's about learning how to come back together as a team. Our work together focuses on helping you move toward one another again, with greater understanding and care. Life can be challenging, and your relationship doesn't have to be another place of struggle. When nurtured, your partnership and your home can become a buffer against the outside world, a source of safety, support, and belonging.

I am trained and experienced in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a gold-standard, evidence-based approach to couples therapy. EFT helps partners better understand their emotional experiences, recognize the patterns that pull them apart, and find their way back to emotional safety and closeness. I have also completed Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2, which allows me to help couples identify common relationship pitfalls, strengthen communication and friendship, and learn how to repair when things go off track.

Whether you're navigating affair recovery, high conflict, emotional or sexual disconnection, or adjusting to a significant life transition, I'm here to support you. If you're ready to move out of feeling alone or at odds and back into partnership, this work can help you rebuild trust, intimacy, and connection.
